Bev Garland was a great character actress who never really got her due; as this MaryBeth Lacey prototype, she hammers home a wise anti-narcotics message.
...
Barbara Lord (real-life mom of comic actor Patrick Warburton) chews the scenery effectively as girl with temporary amnesia. Moral of story: don't drive high.

Marijuana, the devils weed!
A classical Pot propaganda film that tries to portray weed with the same hysteria they gave LSD some years later. Is it any ... wonder it never really worked? Those that partook of the drug then must have thought this kind of message as ridiculous than as they would now.

Very well written. Plot is not obvious at all. Holds interest. Beverly Garland is so hard core here she gives Jack Webb a run for his money. More please!
